The Joy of Cedar Lane
Summer nights are so wonderful. Neighbors are so amazing. We are constantly saying how we want to be better friends with our neighbors. After a long day at work I came home to Patrick and Leanne playing with Jack in the drive way. This led to us grilling out together and then sitting around the kitchen table until after 10pm. What fun neighbors we have! It can't get much better than Cedar Lane.... and I will write later about our not so amazing neighbors.

Sweet Summer Time!
A couple of things that I love about summer...
1. The extra day light
2. Long runs that cause me to sweat
3. Laying out by the pool talking with good friends
4. The Cabin
5. Grilling out (although I am yet to master that skill)
That is all.

Amy Farnsworth, L.D.
So I am official at the hospital now. My very own name badge came in this week and there has been no turning back since. I have been seeing patients for over a week now and my responsibility continues to expand. My hours are flexible but I am keeping them about 8-5 each day. Some days I stay later and others I get to leave about 4. My boss Connie has been a huge blessing and so helpful. I am continuing to ask questions daily but she takes time to explain them and ensure that I am getting along well. My office is still naked because I am waiting to see my parents this weekend to pick up my framed diplomas and to get a poster framed for my office. But I will post pictures soon enough.
Overall, I am loving what I do and I can't believe that I actually get paid to do it. The funniest part thus far is that I already have a student under me. Technically I can't sign off on any of her checklists but she makes rounds with me and does what I tell her. Granted, I think that I am cool because I was just in her shoes so I really don't want her to do some of the crap work that I had to do. I hope that she thinks I am not making her do that.
I promise to have a little more fun with the next post. Sorry that this one is just so dry and boring....
