This past week as I am charting in the ICU I had a doctor walk in and sit next to me. Being just the Intern I turned around and asked if he needed my chart. He noticed my little Auburn badge and immediately said "War Eagle"! As you can imagine I was thrilled and responded with a very strong "War Eagle". I felt like I had just become best friends with the Neurologists. We proceeded to talk for about the next 30 minutes.
Then today as I was running a car passed me with an Auburn tag. I rarely see tags with Auburn on them in Starkville. Over the past few weeks I have missed my Auburn friends, Auburn teachers, and many things about Auburn. Granted I love my life now and were the Lord has me. But Auburn was a great blessing!

next time I see you, I'm gonna say "BULLDOG!!!" and then we'll proceed to talk for about 30 minutes. You'll then have to post about it on your blog.
Your "War Eagle Moment" is way better than that commercial with the guy in the plane and the boat with the Auburn fans passing by...you know the commercial that we saw every other minute during football season... Yours is the way it should be: "War Eagle!" followed by a lengthy visit, talking about days past at Auburn and how even though you loved it so you couldn't be happier that you finally ended up in Starkville. Go Dawgs! :)
