The Bash

It is that time of year again in Starkville, Bulldog Bash. The whole Cotton District turns into one big party. Of course I joined in on the fun because I am not going to miss something that exciting. My friends Jany Gray and Allan live in the Cotton District and were nice enough to invite me over to the party. I must admit that it was a grand ol' time! We drank beer, talked and just listened to music all night long. Jeanie and I decided that we should brave the real crowd and go see Third Eye Blind that was the headliner down on the big stage. So we went. But I should mention that Jeanie is pregnant (she is married to a guy named Grey, they already have a sweet daughter named Lucy). Looks like she is 22. So we laughed that this knocked up college kid (she has graduated from college just looks young for her age) and I were walking around the Bash. It was a sight. We left after we got one beer split on us and when people started fighting us for our position on the sidewalk underneath the cross walk sign. It was fun while it lasted but I would rather sit on the porch and listen.

So it was a White Out (wear white to the MSU game). Problem: it is pouring down rain outside. Solution: wear a white shirt and put the green northface over it. Problem: northface will not keep you completely dry. Solution: Ask Jane Gray to borrow a shirt when I randomly showed up at her house. I biked to campus because I thought that it was going to be better than driving. No, I got soaked. Bad decision on the white shirt too. I waited until half-time to go the MSU game. Good decision. We left the guys at the apartment and the girls went on our happy way. Well, it was happy until that goal line stand.

Overall, great weekend! Lots of fun! Can't wait for next weekend.... Charleston!!!
