Update from Mississippi

I am really struggling on where to start... I have taken such a long vacation that I feel so lost. But I will do my best to update you on the important things of life in Mississippi and the surrounding states.

The trip to Charleston was just as amazing as I had dreamed; maybe even better. There is just something about Charleston I love. We celebrated the upcoming (well at that time) marriage of Jessica (she is now happily married). We ate good food, party hard, did a little shopping and enjoyed fun fellowship. Also, the B92 (radio station) provided the music for many dance moves in the car and around the house. Oh, how I love good dance party music.

I enjoyed seeing Auburn beat up on Ole Miss. Living in Mississippi now allows me to enjoy these moments even more. I had a bet with my boss that if Auburn won he would have to carry around an Auburn shaker and tell everyone War Eagle. He loved the embarrassing moments that it brought as he is a very outspoken Ole Miss fan. And the whole betting idea was his idea. I also got to see Alabama beat Ole Miss. Although I was sitting in the Bama section does not mean I was cheering for the Tide. I was not. I was just a person to help make the stadium look full.

On that day in October when Auburn beat Ole Miss I also got asked to be a bridesmaid. Going to the store to buy another dress is what I am about to do. I mean I kinda needed a spot in this wedding because I practically talked Cabray into going on a date with Daniel. So he kinda owes me a big thank you present. I also attended a rather fabulous Auburn wedding with a great dance party. Yeah, Auburn weddings are my favorite when the right people are involved.

I have recently decided to make it official that I will not marry an Alabama fan. I can marry anyone that is a fan of any other school. I really think that I could even handle UGA or LSU. But some moments over that last few months have made it very clear to me that I will be able to marry an Alabama football fan.

Caroline and I were in a wedding together. We come as a pair so if you are looking for a couple of cute and really fun bridesmaid we can be hired out for a fee. Our nutrition friend, Catie got married. Pretty big deal wedding. Some good food was involved... I mean Catie is a dietitian so you would expect nothing less.

Over Thanksgiving we spent a good bit of time in Auburn. Tailgating is what we do. It was so much fun to spend Thanksgiving with some of my favorite people. Yes, my family is pretty cool and I love them all. But the chance to have the Fab4 together is special. Leslie, SMarie and my family all tailgated together and ate until our hearts were content. The only thing that I was uncontent about was the outcome of the Iron Bowl. Nathan reminded me once during the game that this is why we did not go to games together while in college. I think that I am little too much for him to handle.

Life in Starkville is about to change. Leanne graduates on Friday and will be moving to Jackson. Makes me sad. But I am going to enjoy the last week that we have together.

Thats about all I got for now. I will do a better job of posting!
