It's Not Good Bye but "See You Soon"!

"See you soon" is a saying that I have uttered frequently lately. I absolutely hate the words "good-bye". If you want honesty on this blog; then you will get. I have been a basket case the last few weeks as Starkville is showing it's true colors of being a very transitional place. I have cried when I think of fun things that I have done with friends over the past 2 years. There is no other way to say it than the past 2 years have been amazing. Better than I thought or imagined. There have been many late nights, dance parties, football/basketball/baseball games, engagements (and even dates, I will admit it), tears and some really good food. These friends have been here since day 1 of my Starkville experience and now, they are gone. I have cried more tears in the last few weeks than I thought possible.

I helped to end their Starkville experience with a night out on the town. We started at City Bagel with dinner, Stromboli's for Cookie Dough Bites and finally at Old Venice for drinks (at a special rate). (See pictures from the night!)

I know that this chapter of Starkville life is changing and God will be faithful in the next chapter. But these little blessings (some short and some tall) will always remain dear to my heart. Like I have said ... see you soon (where ever that may be!)
