North Carolina Roadtrip

I am considering North Carolina as my next home. I mean there is nothing not to love. As we were driving into the state I was speechless with the mountains, beauty and everything else. Why on earth am I not living there now? Ok, I realize that there is much business to be taken care of here in Mississippi (I am loving Starkville at the moment; more to come on that -- there is a new house!). But getting to experience Winston-Salem with a dear friend, Kate and seeing what she will be doing at Wake Forest in the fall made so excited that she is going to get to live in North Carolina. On the way home we stopped in Charlotte to see the Akins. I have missed them in Starkville and they have only been gone for a matter of weeks. But it was great to see their new neighborhood and get a glimpse of what this chapter of life looks like.

I decided that this North Carolina has it all. My love for the mountains and the beach all in one state?! What more could a girl ask for? Sign me up!
